First American Nuclear Co. (FANCO) is developing utility-scale energy solutions that aim to meet near-term power needs while creating a practical path to advanced nuclear generation. Its approach is designed around customer timelines, existing industrial capabilities, and the challenges of financing, building, and operating major energy projects.

The company’s EAGL-1 is a proposed 240-megawatt-electric fast-spectrum small modular reactor. It is designed with factory fabrication, low-pressure operation, passive safety features, fuel flexibility, and potential future closed fuel-cycle capability. FANCO is advancing the reactor through engineering development and engagement with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

FANCO’s Bridge Power approach pairs conventional generation equipment with infrastructure planned for a future transition to EAGL-1. Its Dynamic Power offering integrates compatible heat sources, including gas turbines, engines, or industrial processes, to generate additional electricity and, where suitable, useful heat. These solutions are intended for hyperscalers, data center developers and operators, manufacturers, industrial companies, and military and government sites. The company is also building a partner network spanning engineering, construction, manufacturing, project development, and nuclear fuel.
