fanwikis.org

fanwikis.org is a vibrant collective dedicated to hosting and maintaining wikis for various fandoms in multiple languages. This community-driven platform is not a company; instead, it is currently run by private individuals with a passion for sharing knowledge. While fanwikis.org is presently financed out of pocket, future growth may necessitate funding through donations or carefully managed, privacy-friendly advertisements to ensure sustainability.

The platform offers users the opportunity to create and contribute to wikis, fostering a spirit of collaboration and creativity. Each wiki operates with significant freedom, governed only by a code of conduct to maintain community standards. To enhance user experience, fanwikis.org welcomes contributions from both content creators and programmers, encouraging innovative approaches to expand its offerings.

As fanwikis.org looks to formalize its structure as a non-profit entity in Germany, it remains committed to nurturing fandom communities and providing a comprehensive, accessible repository of fandom knowledge and resources.
