Faran Shimi Pharmaceutical is an Iranian pharmaceutical company established in 2002 as a production cooperative on a site of approximately 17,000 square meters in Tuyserkan Industrial Town. It began operations by manufacturing salicylic acid and joined the Golrang Industrial Group in 2007. The company has two main business areas: active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished pharmaceutical products. Its API portfolio includes both low-volume, high-value ingredients and medium-volume materials, including sensitive narcotic substances.

Faran Shimi offers medicines and related products across a range of therapeutic areas, including pain, diabetes, neurological and gastrointestinal conditions, respiratory and kidney health, colds, and cardiovascular care. Its offerings also include supplements and disinfectant products.

In 2021, the company established Faran Plus, a patient-support department staffed by pharmacists, nurses, and other medical professionals. The service provides medication information and answers questions from people using Faran products, supporting patients throughout their treatment. The company also publishes health and medicine articles through its online magazine, covering topics such as mental health, kidney disease, and medications.
