About Far East Asian Art
Far East Asian Art is an online specialty venue for discovering and buying art and objects from Japan, China, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and Korea. Its listings are provided by Trocadero members and reviewed regularly for compliance with the site’s terms of use. The selection spans antiques and decorative arts, with ceramics and porcelain—including Imari pieces and tea wares—alongside woodblock prints, paintings, lacquer, bronze and other metalwork, furniture, textiles, and carvings.
Each regional section highlights distinctive traditions and categories. Japanese offerings include chawan, netsuke, cloisonné, folk art, and samurai artifacts; Chinese selections include scholar’s objects, snuff bottles, sculpture, and carved works.
