Farideh Cadot Associés is an art gallery and advisory practice founded by Farideh Cadot, an internationally minded contemporary art specialist whose career began in Paris in 1976. Known for identifying innovative artists and working across styles and media, Cadot has championed both emerging and established artists, including women artists, since the gallery’s early years. Its programme has encompassed painting, installation, performance and photography, with a particular focus on contemporary art from the 1970s to the present.
Alongside exhibitions, the practice advises private collectors and institutions, drawing on an extensive international network of artists, museums, dealers, foundations and independent organisations. It has also initiated public sculpture commissions and contributed to exhibitions and projects with museums and cultural institutions in Europe, the United States and Japan, often accompanied by substantial catalogues.
