Farleys Farm Sanctua

Farley’s Farm Sanctuary is a vegan-run grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in February 2022. Located on five acres in Swanton, Ohio, it rescues and rehabilitates domesticated animals while providing lifelong care for residents. The sanctuary is home to a range of species, including chickens, ducks, turkeys, cows, rabbits, cats, rats, reptiles, and fish. Named in memory of Farley, a rescued dog whose story inspired the sanctuary, the organization is dedicated to honoring animals and creating a compassionate community.

Farley’s Farm works to educate the public about systemic issues that lead to animal exploitation and suffering. When suitable, it helps animals recover and find safe, loving permanent homes. Its community services also include sponsoring spay and neuter costs for community cats and providing animal food and basic care supplies to people with low incomes, helping them keep their beloved animals at home. The sanctuary invites community involvement through events and opportunities to get involved, and supporters can connect through its social media, Patreon, and Hipcamp.
