About Farmakologi
The Danish Society for Pharmacology is a prominent umbrella organization comprising four independent scientific societies dedicated to pharmacology and toxicology in Denmark. These member societies include the Danish Pharmaceutical Society, the Danish Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, the Danish Society for Toxicology and Pharmacology, and the Danish Society for Clinical Pharmacology. The primary goals of the Danish Society for Pharmacology involve advancing the purposes of its member organizations, organizing both national and international scientific meetings and congresses focused on toxicology and pharmacology, and providing practical and professional support for the publication of textbooks, journals, and other educational materials that promote the discipline.
Additionally, the society collaborates with the scientific journal Basic & Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology for financial support. The upcoming Annual Meeting is scheduled for January 22, 2026, at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, where participants can submit abstracts for presentations. Through these efforts, the society is committed to enhancing pharmacology education and research within Danish universities.
