Farmapark pod Lichnicí

Farmapark pod Lichnicí is a family-run animal sanctuary in Starý Dvůr, near Třemošnice, in the Železné Mountains region of the Czech Republic. It provides a new home for animals in need, including sheep, goats, ponies, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, a fox, a raccoon, coatis and a meerkat. The farm’s aim is to give each animal a dignified life and share its story with visitors.

Rather than presenting itself as a conventional zoo or farm, Farmapark describes its work as a family-led project built with care and dedication. Its facilities are still being developed, with the goal of creating good conditions for the animals and a welcoming place where families, children and nature lovers can learn about them and experience their stories. The grounds are not open to the public on a walk-in basis; people interested in visiting can contact the team by email or follow its social media channels for information. The nonprofit association Zvířátka pod Lichnicí welcomes donations to support the animals and ongoing development.
