Farmers Direct Hay and Feed LLC is a farmer-owned and operated business serving Florida’s equestrian community from Williston, with delivery across North Central Florida, including Ocala and Gainesville. Owned by fifth-generation American farmers Delmar and Trennis Ropp, the company has been in the horse hay business since 2012. Most of its hay is grown on the owners’ Nevada farm, where high-desert conditions and irrigated fields support nutrient-rich Western forage; additional hay is sourced from Nevada and nearby western states.

The product range includes alfalfa, orchard grass, timothy, teff, and mixed hay, with options for performance horses, hard keepers, picky eaters, and other needs. The store also carries equine feed and products for poultry, goats, and other animals, including brands such as Sentinel, Blue Seal Heritage, and Central States. Customers can use the online Hay Finder quiz for recommendations.

Services include local hay delivery, wholesale purchasing, and container orders of approximately 130 bales. The company also sells shipping containers and offers free delivery within specified distance and storage terms.
