About The Sentry
The Sentry is San Diego’s annual PGA TOUR golf event, hosted at Torrey Pines and organized by the Century Club of San Diego, a member-driven nonprofit. First played in 1952 as the San Diego Open, the tournament has been held at Torrey Pines since 1968. Its mission is to stage a world-class golf event that benefits San Diego and its youth. Through the Champions for Youth Program, The Sentry supports youth-serving nonprofits by helping them build capacity, extend their reach, and increase their community impact.
The tournament offers tickets for multiple days of competition, along with premium experiences including the Pechanga Club, ULTRA Zone, hospitality packages, and VIP options. Visitors can also explore venue features such as suites, skyboxes, cabanas, and dedicated viewing areas. The event welcomes volunteers, who contribute to tournament operations from the Pro-Am through Championship Saturday. Scheduled for January 27–30, 2027, The Sentry brings together golf fans, guests, partners, and the wider community for competition and connection, with proceeds and support directed toward strengthening San Diego’s future.
