Farmers & Makers Market is a Calgary community market organized by the Calgary Earth Market Society, bringing local food producers, artisans, and neighbours together since 2018. Its markets offer shoppers a place to discover locally grown, baked, and made goods from farm, food, and artisan vendors. Beyond shopping, the market creates a welcoming setting to gather with friends and neighbours and enjoy live music at the Market Stage. The organization describes its work as “Feeding Communities and Culture” and connects its activities with supporting local food security.
The market’s outdoor season takes place in warmer months, with the next season expected in spring 2027. It also hosts the Farmers’ & Makers Christmas Market at cSPACE Marda Loop, located at 1721 29 Avenue SW in Calgary. The 2026 Christmas market is scheduled for Friday, November 20, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, November 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
