Farm & Food Care Ontario

Farm & Food Care Ontario is a registered Canadian charity and a vital coalition representing various agricultural sectors and associated businesses. Established in 2012 through the merger of the Ontario Farm Animal Council and AGCare, the organization aims to build public trust in Ontario's food and farming practices. It actively engages with farmers, agricultural professionals, and government bodies to address key issues such as animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and food safety.

With a focus on three primary areas—Farm Animal Care, Farming & the Environment, and Food & Farming Resources—Farm & Food Care Ontario provides credible information and resources to both non-farming audiences and agricultural communities. The organization offers education, training, and workshops, fostering collaboration and innovation to connect farmers with consumers. Through initiatives like the Farm Animal Care Helpline and events such as Ontario’s Harvest Gala, Farm & Food Care Ontario champions the importance of transparency and public engagement in agriculture, ensuring consumer confidence in the food system.
