Wetland Surveys Ireland is an organisation focused on wetlands and environmental projects in Ireland. The organisation’s work has included the FarmPEAT Project, a locally led, results-based agri-environmental pilot for farmers managing land around raised bogs in Ireland’s midlands. Funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, FarmPEAT linked payments to the habitat and environmental quality of participating farms. The project team also advised farmers on voluntary supporting actions to improve habitat quality, with financial assistance available for eligible work. Assessment tools included scorecards for peatland, grassland, woodland, boundaries and whole farms.

FarmPEAT concluded in December 2024, and its archive shares programme information, reports and learning materials. Wetland Surveys Ireland also lists other projects and services, including ACRES West Connacht and the Pearl Mussel Project.
