Faro Santander is an open, accessible cultural centre in Santander, Spain, bringing together art, culture and technology. Located in the historic Pereda Building, the former headquarters of Banco Santander, it gives new life to an emblematic city landmark as an innovative space connected with the community and Cantabria’s cultural scene. The centre’s architecture was entrusted to British architect David Chipperfield, winner of the 2023 Pritzker Prize.
Faro Santander presents exhibitions spanning historical and contemporary art, including works from the Banco Santander Collection and the Gelman Santander Collection, alongside exhibitions dedicated to artists such as Leonora Carrington.
