Faschingsclub Laim e.V. is a carnival club based in Munich’s Laim district, bringing local audiences together to celebrate the city’s “fifth season.” Its members prepare a lively stage programme for each carnival session, combining traditional and contemporary performance. The club’s active groups include a prince and princess, a guard troupe performing both a traditional march and a modern section, and a men’s dance group. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings at the ASZ Laim on Kiem-Pauli-Weg in Munich.
Faschingsclub Laim also organises and takes part in events throughout the season, including the ceremonial presentation of its carnival prince and princess. The club shares news about its preparations and appearances through its website and social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Visitors can find information about events, the club’s active performers, its history, gallery and carnival newspaper online. With its mix of dance, costumes, community events and seasonal entertainment, Faschingsclub Laim offers residents and visitors an opportunity to enjoy carnival traditions and performances in Munich.
