Faschingsgesellschaft Ebersberg

Faschingsgesellschaft Ebersberg e. V. is a community carnival organization that has kept the traditional Ebersberg Fasching alive for generations.

Founded in 1962 by local carnival enthusiasts, the association organizes the town’s seasonal celebrations and brings residents together through events for all ages. Its program includes the traditional children’s carnival, a lively gathering where young visitors can enjoy dance performances, games, and other fun activities. Another major attraction is the Faschingsumzug, the carnival parade held on Shrove Tuesday, which draws thousands of spectators and serves as a highlight of the Ebersberg festivities.

The association also features Josefine, its locomotive, a familiar presence at major events in Ebersberg. Alongside organizing celebrations, Faschingsgesellschaft Ebersberg shares information about upcoming carnival activities, its history, and past editions through its website and Faschingszeitung, Die Josefine. Visitors can find details about the 2027 carnival and register to participate in the parade.

The association welcomes inquiries through its contact page and continues to celebrate local traditions through community-focused carnival events
