FastSwitch

FastSwitch connects career changers, employers and universities of applied sciences through routes into new careers that combine learning with work. The organisation supports people who are ready for a change, whether they are seeking more meaningful work or want to make better use of their talents. Its programmes focus on four fields: information and communications technology, education, engineering and technology, and health and social care.

Through FastSwitch, participants can explore work-and-study pathways that offer paid learning and practical experience. The goal is to help career changers gain an accredited diploma or certificate and, in most cases, start working with a new employer while they train. This approach offers a structured way to develop skills for a different profession while building a connection with the workplace.

FastSwitch also works with employers and universities of applied sciences, bringing these partners together to support career transitions. The website provides information for prospective switchers, employers and universities, along with details about available pathways, frequently asked questions and contact options.
