FASV Schwabstedt is a fishing and angling club serving the Schwabstedt area in Germany. With nearly 550 active and passive members, the association brings together experienced anglers and beginners, welcoming people interested in fishing, nature and community life. Its work combines recreational angling with environmental responsibility, guided by the principle that visitors to nature should treat it with respect.
The club manages several fishing waters, including the Treene River from the Rheider Au near Hollingstedt to the Schwabstedt wastewater treatment plant. It also shares responsibility for a further stretch of the Treene with SFV Treene Friedrichstadt; much of this section is mainly accessible by boat. Other club waters include the Huder Schleife, Kuhle Muhl near Hude and two lakes in the Polder Westerkoog near Ramstedt. The association supports community activities, encourages children to connect with nature and promotes active environmental protection. Its website shares information about waters, fishing permits, club news and events, along with contact details and a link to the Treene water level near Wohlde.
