The Faulkes Telescope Project is dedicated to enhancing STEM education through astronomy, providing free access to a global network of robotic telescopes for educators in the UK and Europe. In collaboration with the Las Cumbres Observatory, the project enables students and teachers to engage directly with the cosmos by observing celestial events such as supernovae and comets. The initiative offers extensive educational resources, including teacher continuous professional development (CPD), classroom materials, and expert support on integrating astronomy into lesson plans.

Registration to use the telescopes is free for UK school teachers, educators, and partner organizations across Europe. The Faulkes Telescope Project's mission is to inspire the next generation of scientists by making astronomical research accessible and hands-on, allowing users to contribute to real-time research and discoveries. With a commitment to innovation and education, the project serves as a platform for educators to bring the wonders of the universe directly into their classrooms
