Fausová

Barbora Fausová is a Czech sculptor whose work combines traditional craftsmanship with an expressive approach to people and animals. After studying sculpture and stone restoration in Hořice, she spent 20 years working in an artistic foundry, mastering the lost-wax bronze casting process from initial model to finished patina. She has pursued her own artistic practice since 2000.

Fausová works primarily in bronze and tin, and also creates sculptures in wood, stone, and grey cast iron. Her portfolio includes figurative sculptures, portraits, busts, reliefs, and decorative pieces such as candleholders. Bronze works and larger tin sculptures are produced in limited editions of five, with each piece marked by the artist and its edition number.

Custom commissions are an important part of her practice. She works closely with clients from the first concept through final production, creating original pieces for private collectors and public spaces. Selected works are available to purchase, and commissions can be discussed directly with the artist.
