About Folklore Without Boundaries Ostrava
Folklor bez hranic Ostrava is an international folk festival that takes place annually in the third week of August. The 26th edition of the festival will be held from Monday, August 12th, to Friday, August 16th, 2024. Throughout these five days, the festival travels through the districts of Ostrava, showcasing folk traditions, dances, songs, and costumes from the Czech Republic and various parts of the world.
All festival days, except Friday, are free of charge and open to the public. The festival caters to audiences of all age groups, from families with children to seniors. Every year, the festival welcomes five international groups and dozens of Czech ensembles.
