About ADFBMA
The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy (FBMA) is a not-for-profit government entity in Abu Dhabi, UAE, dedicated to promoting and facilitating women's sports. Under the auspices of H. H.
Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation, the Academy strives to make sports an integral part of daily life for Emirati women, regardless of age, background, or physical condition. Led by Chairwoman H. H.
Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazaa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Academy hosts various local, regional, and international sports events, fosters community activities, and develops local talent. It also places a strong emphasis on education and research in the field. With a vision to create a healthy lifestyle and a bright sporting future, FBMA partners with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and other relevant government entities and sports federations.
Its mission revolves around establishing women's sports as a central pillar in Abu Dhabi by focusing on education, sports training, talent nurturing, organizing events and tournaments, and participating through their qualified teams. At FBMA, they are dedicated to empowering women through sports, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle, and instilling the values of sportsmanship in the UAE's public consciousness
