About FCAS
FCAS is an editorial imprint of Grupo Cacciani dedicated to sharing the history and cultures of Mesoamerica through reading. Its catalogue brings together academic books for students and adults, alongside children’s titles designed to encourage young readers to explore pre-Hispanic history for themselves. Subjects include archaeology, Maya civilization, Mesoamerican religions, codices, astronomy, regional cultures, ceramics, food traditions, customs, and the natural world.
The children’s collection includes books for different age groups, from introductory titles for very young readers to stories and historical topics for older children. Featured books include tales about Xochiquetzal and Popoca, Tláloc, Pájaro-Jaguar, and Coatlicue. Customers can browse and purchase titles through the FCAS online store.
The publisher’s books are also available through major Mexican booksellers, including Gandhi, Fondo de Cultura Económica, Porrúa, El Sótano, and Educal-Conaculta, as well as INAH stores. FCAS ships within Mexico and internationally, accepts credit cards and PayPal, and presents its catalogue as a way to discover Mesoamerican heritage through accessible, specialized publishing
