FC Bronkow

Fliegerclub Bronkow e. V. is a community of aviation enthusiasts based at Bronkow airfield, south of Calau in Germany.

The club brings together pilots, trainees and volunteers to enjoy and promote flying, with a particular focus on gliding and youth development. Its activities include introductory flights for visitors, giving passengers the chance to experience the skies above the Lausitz with an experienced pilot, and flight training for aspiring glider pilots from age 14. Motor-glider training can begin at age 16, and the club also supports further training and cross-country flying.

Members use a fleet of club aircraft, including gliders and motor gliders, and take part in seasonal flying, training camps, competitions and events such as the Spreewaldpokal. The club’s airfield and facilities also host visiting flying groups and community activities. Through instruction, shared flying experiences and practical involvement in airfield operations, Fliegerclub Bronkow offers newcomers and experienced aviators opportunities to learn, develop skills and participate in a close-knit flying community
