West Florida Flames is a youth soccer organization serving the Tampa Bay area. Founded in 1975, the club marks its 50th anniversary in 2025 and has grown from a small local program into one of Tampa’s largest and most respected youth soccer organizations, with more than 12,000 members and 5,000 players. Its programs welcome players of different ages and abilities, from recreational soccer to elite competition in MLS NEXT and the Girls Academy.

The Flames aim to promote soccer while providing positive, supportive, and developmental experiences in a safe, empowering environment. Alongside athletic development, the organization emphasizes life skills and values including passion, respect, leadership, empathy, and unity. Its offerings include competitive and recreational soccer, a Florida Soccer School, summer camps, tryouts, and tournaments.

The club also provides access to fields and facilities, including locations at East Lake and the JC Handly Sports Complex, and offers financial assistance information.
