The Federação de Campismo e Montanhismo de Portugal (FCMP) is a Portuguese nonprofit association dedicated to camping, mountaineering and related outdoor activities. Recognized as a public-benefit legal entity since 1978, it brings together affiliated organizations and supports a broad range of disciplines, including camping and caravanning, motor caravanning, mountaineering, alpinism, climbing, canyoning, ski mountaineering, hiking and skyrunning.

The federation shares information and resources for practitioners, clubs and the wider outdoor community through its website, including dedicated portals for practitioners and clubs. Its useful information covers hiking routes, applications, campsites and licences, alongside documentation, partnerships and protocols. FCMP also promotes training and publishes updates about its activities and the different disciplines it represents.

Its calendar features national and international gatherings, walks and camping events, such as the National Veterans’ March, the National Camping Gathering and Eurorando. Through these initiatives and its network of affiliates, FCMP helps connect people with outdoor pursuits and supports the development and organization of camping and mountain sports in Portugal.
