About FCRI Hyd Telangana
FCRI Hyderabad, established in 2016 under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Sri. K Chandrashekar Rao, is a pioneering institution in professional forestry education located in Siddipet district, about 50 km from Hyderabad. Recognized for its A* grade accreditation from ICFRE and ICAR, FCRI offers comprehensive programs including a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Forestry, M.Sc. in Forestry, and a Ph.D. in Forestry. The curriculum is meticulously designed to incorporate biological, environmental, social, and management sciences, providing students with a well-rounded foundation in sustainable forest management.
FCRI Hyderabad emphasizes practical learning through field visits, research projects, and specialized resources such as the Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) and wood workshop.
