FDAC supports

FDAC Support is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee dedicated to helping families affected by parental substance misuse and addiction. Working alongside the Family Drug and Alcohol Court (FDAC), a trauma-informed, problem-solving initiative, the organisation supports parents in crisis as they work toward recovery and safer homes for their children. Its focus is on helping families heal together and giving children the opportunity for a safer, healthier future.

FDAC Support provides practical assistance to families facing addiction and trauma. Its services include sourcing providers and funding for home improvements, furnishing rooms, and obtaining essential household items to help prepare a home. The organisation also helps secure emergency food supplies through its FDAC Pantry, supporting families’ nutritional needs. In addition, it assists with acquiring clothing and school uniforms.

By offering care and practical tools throughout a parent’s recovery, FDAC Support aims to help families rebuild their lives and remain together.
