Far North Coast Family Day Care is an early childhood education and care service offering children a warm, welcoming alternative to centre-based care. Its educators provide home-like, natural and culturally rich environments, where small groups allow children to build trusted relationships and receive consistent attention. Care is limited to no more than four children under preschool age per educator.

The service’s child-centred, play-based learning supports children’s sense of belonging, being and becoming. Programs are shaped around each child’s ideas, strengths, abilities and developmental needs, with coordinators working alongside educators to provide guidance and support. Far North Coast Family Day Care operates within Australia’s National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and My Time, Our Place framework. The organisation states that it exceeds the National Quality Standard in at least four of its seven quality areas and is a Child Safe Service.

For families, the service provides enrolment information, parent resources, FAQs and newsletters.
