About Fearless Fund
Fearless Fund is a venture capital firm that focuses on investing in businesses led by women of color. They provide financial support to women entrepreneurs at the pre-seed, seed level, or series A stage. By bridging the gap in venture capital funding, Fearless Fund aims to empower women of color founders and help them build scalable and growth-aggressive companies.
Research shows that companies with a female founder perform 63% better on average than those with all-male founding teams. Despite this potential, women, especially women of color, have historically been underfunded. In fact, only 2.
2% of the $130 billion raised in VC funding in the US in 2018 went to female-founded companies, with less than 1% allocated to businesses founded by women of color. Fearless Fund was established to address this funding gap and drive positive change in the landscape of women of color-led businesses.
