Fechtclub Berlin

Fechtclub Berlin Südwest is a fencing club based in Berlin-Steglitz, offering training in épée and foil for children, teenagers, and adults. Founded in 1997, the club welcomes beginners and experienced fencers alike, whether they are interested in competitive development or simply want to enjoy the sport. Its beginner courses are available across age and ability levels, and prospective members can attend a trial session. Newcomers can borrow fencing clothing and weapons free of charge during their initial training period, with guidance available on equipment purchases after joining.

The club holds training sessions throughout the week and on Saturdays at the fencing hall in Sochos-Sporthalle, which has permanent pistes and scoring equipment. Members can also take part in tournaments, training events, and specialist courses, with the club regularly sharing news about its fencers’ results. Fechtclub Berlin Südwest promotes an inclusive, welcoming environment and participates in child-protection programs, holding the Landessportbund child-protection seal. Membership is open to new participants, and the club also offers branded clothing, including jackets, shirts, and hoodies.
