Fect

Friends Educational and Charitable Trust (FECT) is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Tamil Nadu, India, committed to transforming society by empowering underprivileged individuals through education and medical assistance. Founded in 2006 by a group of compassionate friends, FECT emphasizes the belief that basic education is a fundamental right. The organization focuses on supporting school dropouts and financially starved college students, ensuring they have access to necessary educational resources.

In addition to educational support, FECT extends its mission to provide financial aid for medical emergencies, particularly for cancer patients and the elderly who lack the means for treatment. Their compassionate efforts also address the needs of mentally challenged individuals, orphans, and the homeless. Through a network of volunteers, FECT actively secures referrals for those needing assistance and facilitates fundraising to directly aid these marginalized groups. By fostering community support and charity, FECT strives to create a more equitable society for all, reaching out where the need is greatest.
