FEDAPAGAIA is the Federation of Parent Associations of the Municipality of Gaia. As a recognized and respected institution, FEDAPAGAIA represents the Parents Associations in Vila Nova de Gaia with integrity and cooperation. Their mission is to promote and actively engage in the Parents Association Movement in Gaia.

FEDAPAGAIA focuses on the dynamization of Parent Associations, ensuring that they are well-equipped to support and contribute to the public school system in Gaia. With 14 School Clusters and 4 Independent Secondary Schools, representing a total of 44,031 students across 222 educational units, FEDAPAGAIA plays a crucial role in representing the interests of parents and guardians in educational policies. Moreover, FEDAPAGAIA also emphasizes the importance of parental empowerment and the development of leadership skills among its members.

Recognizing the high legal and fiscal responsibility demanded from non-profit organizations' leaders, FEDAPAGAIA strives to enhance the performance of association leaders through training and support.
