The Fédération des Arboriculteurs du Haut-Rhin is a network supporting associations and people interested in family fruit growing in Alsace. It promotes practical knowledge, community involvement and the care of orchards, including the preservation of older fruit varieties. With more than 50 affiliated associations and around 3,000 members across the department, the Federation connects local enthusiasts and helps newcomers find a group nearby.

Its activities include training in arboriculture, pomology, fruit-tree pruning, grafting and planting, as well as courses for people who distil fruit. The Federation also shares seasonal advice on harvesting and processing produce, and information about local facilities for pressing or distilling fruit. Its agenda features public events throughout the year, with more than 500 events organised annually in the Haut-Rhin. News, association directories and practical resources are available through its website, including dedicated sections for fruit growers and distillers. By bringing volunteers, associations and learners together, the Federation helps pass on skills and sustain fruit-growing traditions in the region.
