FEDEC

FEDEC is an international network dedicated to professional circus education. They play a crucial role in supporting the growth and advancement of training, teaching, and creation in the field of circus arts. With 82 members across 31 countries, their network consists of secondary, vocational, preparatory, and higher education circus schools, as well as organizations focused on circus education, such as national associations, festivals, and circus hubs.

FEDEC offers various opportunities and resources to their members, including participation in European projects like SPEAK OUT, which addresses discrimination and gender-based violence in the circus and street arts sector, and RIGGERS, aimed at enhancing safety measures in circus schools worldwide.

One of FEDEC's major events is the annual CIRCLE, where participants have the chance to delve into an inspiring program of workshops, performances, and encounters. Additionally, the FEDEC Encounters at Circa is an unmissable gathering that supports the artists involved in their CIRCLE project while offering a vibrant lineup of circus performances.
