Fedeepilepsia

The Spanish Epilepsy Federation (FEDE) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 to improve the lives of people with epilepsy and their families. It brings together local, regional and national associations across Spain, helping individuals find support and connect with organizations near them. FEDE works to increase social and scientific recognition of epilepsy, strengthen cooperation among its member associations, and promote greater awareness of the condition.

The federation offers information on epilepsy, seizure types and treatments, alongside emotional support, educational resources and materials. Its activities include training sessions, talks, social events and other opportunities for communication and collaboration. FEDE also shares information about research and developments that may improve diagnosis, treatment and quality of life.

Through Epiforward360, it provides a collection of recordings, articles and educational materials for healthcare professionals, people with epilepsy, families and anyone seeking to learn more. FEDE serves people across different age groups and epilepsy-related communities, and describes itself as the official Spanish chapter of the International Bureau for Epilepsy.
