Goza como entidad privada sin ánimo de lucro de personalidad jurídica propia y capacidad de obrar, ejerciendo además de las funciones propias de gestión y coordinación de la práctica deportiva, las funciones delegadas por la Administración pública deportiva de las Illes Balears.
