Federesco ETS is a nonprofit national federation based in Rome that brings together, represents and supports Energy Service Companies (ESCo) in Italy. Its work promotes energy efficiency and a more environmentally sustainable energy model, encouraging solutions that reduce energy consumption and emissions in line with European climate goals. With more than 25 years of activity, Federesco serves as a reference point for ESCo businesses and other organizations working in the sector.
The federation offers members institutional representation, technical and regulatory support, professional training, updates on legislation, and opportunities to share best practices and build industry networks. It also provides dedicated consultancy to help organizations establish an ESCo and pursue accreditation with Italy’s energy services operator, GSE. Through its activities, Federesco supports the development of energy-efficiency projects across Italy, from strategy to implementation, and has delivered more than 250 energy consultations for businesses, public bodies and private organizations. Its broader initiatives include Federesco CER, condominium-related services, European projects and sector news, helping members strengthen their expertise, visibility and role in the evolving energy market.
