FEINHIEB

Feinhieb is a stone-carving and sculpture workshop in Cologne, located at the Deutz-Mülheimer Hafen. Led by a master stonemason and sculptor who is also a trained artist, the business creates distinctive memorials designed to reflect the life and character of the person remembered. Each gravestone is an individual design or a unique piece shaped by nature, rather than a mass-produced product.

Services include memorials for traditional graves, urn graves and tree-burial sites, as well as natural boulders, found stones, inscriptions, ornaments, grave surrounds and sculptures. Feinhieb works with clients through one or more consultations to develop a suitable design and offers guidance on choices such as stone form, lettering and overall layout. The workshop emphasizes craftsmanship and aims to source and make its work in an ecologically and socially responsible way, outside the international stone industry. It also undertakes general stonemasonry work and delivers memorials in Cologne, Leverkusen, Bergisch Gladbach and the surrounding area. Alongside memorial work, the artist pursues sculpture, illustration and animation projects.
