Feldmark Alpaca

Feldmark Alpaca is an alpaca farm and breeding operation in Borken, in the Münsterland region of Germany. Inspired by visits to alpaca farms and training in animal husbandry, breeding, and animal-care certification, the owners turned their longstanding interest into their own herd in 2018. The farm was planned to provide a suitable environment for its alpacas and places strong emphasis on healthy animals and species-appropriate care. Its breeding goals include sound conformation and fine fleece, while the individual needs and character of each animal remain a priority.

Feldmark Alpaca also invites people to experience the animals in person. Alpacas are described as curious and lively, and the farm highlights the calming effect that spending time around them can have. Visitors can contact the owners to arrange an individual appointment and see the herd for themselves. The farm’s website also shares information about the herd and current news, and provides contact details for enquiries. Feldmark Alpaca combines careful breeding with opportunities for personal, on-farm encounters with its animals.
