Felix

Felix is a registered charity working to rescue good food that might otherwise go to waste and get it to people who need it. Its mission is to support fuller plates, stronger communities and fuller lives by connecting surplus food with charities and community organisations. Felix supplies food across every local authority area in the United Kingdom, from Shetland to Penzance and across Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England.

The organisation supports 8,000 charities and community groups and reports reaching 1. 5 million people across the country, with the help of 18,000 volunteers. Its work includes partnering with food suppliers, growers and manufacturers to redistribute surplus produce and extend the life of food such as berries and carrots.
