Félkör

Félkör Alapítvány is a Hungarian nonprofit organization supporting people affected by drug-related problems through prevention, counseling, and rehabilitation referral services. For more than twenty years, it has worked in prevention, diversion programs, and support for people experiencing addiction. Its approach emphasizes understanding and practical help rather than judgment or punishment.

The foundation offers free drug-diversion services for young people and adults involved in police matters who are eligible to choose a support program instead of a penalty. Participants receive guidance on required documents and an initial assessment, followed by 12 sessions totaling 24 hours, generally completed over at least six months. Sessions are confidential and tailored to each person, using discussion, reflection, and interactive exercises in individual or small-group settings. Félkör also offers consultations and drug-prevention and awareness services.

Programs are available at multiple locations in Budapest and surrounding communities, and participants can choose or change locations. The foundation helps prospective clients understand the process, answer questions, and arrange their first appointment.
