Feministiskt Självförsvar

F.S.G is a nonprofit, non-religious and politically independent association offering feminist self-defense education. Founded in 2007 by a group of instructors, the organization provides courses, individual sessions and lectures focused on both mental and physical self-defense. Its activities are open to people who identify as women or have experience of being socialized as women.

F.S.G works with a wide range of groups and settings, including schools, adult education organizations, youth centers, women’s shelters, businesses, community organizations and private individuals. It also offers sessions for events such as hen parties. Course content and structure are adapted to participants’ needs, and prospective clients can contact the association for details and current pricing.

The organization reports positive feedback from participants, with most women and girls who have attended saying they feel more confident and better informed about their rights. Instructor development is an ongoing part of its work: new instructors receive further training, and the existing team meets several times a year for continued education.
