FENALEI, the National Federation of Auctioneers, represents and supports Brazil’s official auctioneer profession through information, advocacy, and services for auctioneers and the public. Its website helps users find officially registered auctioneers and check whether an auction website is legitimate, aiming to prevent fraud and financial losses. Visitors can report suspicious sites, consult safety guidance, and access information on professional conduct, legislation, regulations, and legal notices.

For members, FENALEI provides access to the Bolsa de Leilões, a daily updated market dashboard bringing together auctions, lots, rankings, and price trends across Brazil. The federation also tracks legislative proposals affecting public auctioneers, publishes technical analysis, and represents the profession before Brazil’s National Congress. Additional resources include market and legal research, transparency information, news, articles, and publications contributed by members and partners. FENALEI advises consumers to verify an auctioneer’s registration with the relevant state Board of Trade and to avoid payments to anyone other than the registered official auctioneer.
