About Fenix Finland
Fenix Finland ry is dedicated to providing support and assistance through various peer support groups and programs. In addition to the stabilization group "Internal Support," they organize peer support groups for those affected by war, where participants in similar life situations can support each other. Meetings are held weekly, mainly online, allowing participation regardless of location.
Some groups meet in partner facilities face-to-face, such as women's groups and art therapy groups. The online mental support group aims to assist individuals facing difficult life situations and war experiences, offering a safe space for discussion and acceptance among understanding peers. With expert guidance, the group helps alleviate mental distress and depression, fostering a desire to engage in life once more.
