Feral Watch

Feral Watch & TNR is a registered South African nonprofit company founded in 2018 to improve the lives of feral cats in the Highveld Ridge area. The organization focuses on establishing healthy, cared-for, and controlled cat colonies, and feeds more than 450 cats each day. Its work is guided by a pro-life and pro-sterilization approach, with methods approved by the NSPCA.

The core service is Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR): cats are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered by a veterinarian, vaccinated against rabies, ear-tipped for identification, and returned to their territory once recovered. The organization also provides ongoing colony feeding and care, and offers adoption options for cats able to transition to domestic life. It works with communities and partners, including businesses and local sites, to plan TNR and colony management.

Supporters can contribute through donations, monthly or one-off virtual adoptions, sponsored neutering, food donations, payroll giving, volunteering, fostering, and corporate partnerships. Feral Watch & TNR relies entirely on public support and can issue Section 18(A) tax receipts for eligible donations.
