Ferences Ösztöndíj

The Franciscan Scholarship Foundation (Ferences Ösztöndíj Alapítvány) runs the Franciscan Scholarship Program, supporting students from Franciscan schools with more than financial assistance: the program emphasizes guidance, mentoring, and purposeful development. Its scholarships and activities span four areas. Students can pursue a year-long creative or research project, strengthen selected academic subjects, organize community or social initiatives and take part in sport or performance activities, or prepare for competitions.

Participants work toward defined goals with support from mentors, while teachers can apply to serve as mentors and provide individual guidance throughout the year. The foundation also offers an England scholarship and organizes events such as a project presentation day, where students share their work. Its website provides application information, program news, alumni and creative work, publications, and resources for participants and mentors, including project and presentation templates and mentoring logs.

Supporters can contribute to the program, including through a bottle-return donation option. The foundation connects students, mentors, schools, and supporters around learning, creativity, achievement, and community involvement
