Southeast Iowa Lactation & Nutrition Support, also known as Nourishing Babes Lactation & Nutrition, provides breastfeeding and nutrition care led by Beth Ferguson, a lactation consultant and registered dietitian. Drawing on experience in clinical, long-term care, WIC, children’s nutrition, and lactation settings, Beth takes a holistic, weight-inclusive, and non-diet approach to supporting families and individuals.

Services address breastfeeding challenges such as low milk supply, latch difficulties, tongue tie assessment, pumping, bottle refusal, breast and nipple pain, weaning, and returning to work. Nutrition support includes prenatal nutrition, gestational diabetes, PCOS, gut health, thyroid conditions, allergy considerations, and intuitive eating. The practice also helps parents with infant feeding and baby-led weaning, including introducing solid foods between six and twelve months.

Clients can book appointments, explore courses and nutrition therapy, and access free resources on lactation, baby-led weaning, and intuitive eating. The practice serves Burlington and surrounding Southeast Iowa communities, and accepts several insurance plans.
