La Ferme de Vertessec is a family-run poultry farm and online food shop based in Avensan, in the Landes Girondines and Médoc wine region of France. The farm has raised poultry across approximately 50 hectares since 1973, with a focus on preserving the authentic taste of traditional foods. Its range includes whole birds such as chicken, capon, guinea fowl, duck, rabbit, pigeon and quail, alongside cuts of chicken, guinea fowl and duck.
Prepared foods include roasts, sausages, boudin, confit, pies, quiches, terrines and rillettes. The shop also offers foie gras duck products, preserved foods, mushrooms and truffles, pickles, honey, plums and wine, as well as discovery boxes. Featured products include free-range Vertessec chicken raised for at least 120 days and fed without GMOs.
Customers can order online, with refrigerated delivery available throughout France and free delivery on orders over €200. The farm also welcomes visitors at its Avensan shop and has a boutique in Bordeaux
