Inspired by techniques from around the world, they aim to teach, research, and inspire companies, citizens, and public organizations to build a sustainable future for food. The brand focuses on three main values: zero waste, low emission, and technological reproducibility.

They offer accommodation for emerging food projects, citizens, and organizations, following a business model inspired by fab lab communities. The goal is to support six ventures each year to grow and become sustainable food projects. Eventos cerca de mí also aims to create a synergy between different types of businesses within the space, such as catering gigs using food waste, incubator spots for scaling up projects, food production spots for hobbyists or semi-professionals, and drink projects for small test batches.
